Our Full-Time Assistant Reservations Manager plays a pivotal leadership role in guiding our dynamic team of six Reservations professionals. This position is integral to driving performance, elevating service excellence, and maximizing revenue within a luxury hospitality environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Inspire, coach, and motivate team members to foster a positive, high-performing culture
- Support the management, development, and ongoing training of Reservations Sales Agents
- Oversee group reservations coordination, ensuring accurate contract rate loading and system integrity
- Assist the Reservations Manager in achieving departmental targets, including membership enrolments and revenue goals
- Champion luxury quality standards through performance reporting, training initiatives, and team development
- Collaborate closely with Reservations and Revenue Management teams to manage availability, pricing strategies, and implement stop-sell directives when required
- Conduct thorough arrival checks to ensure seamless and exceptional guest experiences
- Lead by example through precise processing and input of reservations in accordance with hotel standards
- Monitor and reduce outstanding reservation accounts to maintain financial accuracy
- Maintain a proactive, sales-driven approach to optimise occupancy and revenue performance
