Due to an internal promotion, we are seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented and results-driven Conference & Events Sales Executive to join our Sales and Marketing team.
In this role, you will manage and drive conference, events and group sales enquiries, maximise conversion rates, and achieve departmental revenue and profitability targets in line with budget and forecasts. You will play a key role in securing new and repeat business while ensuring a seamless client journey from enquiry to event handover, maintaining exceptional service standards reflective of a luxury hotel.
Key responsibilities include:
- Handle enquiries and RFPs efficiently to secure business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships with corporate clients, event planners and agencies.
- Prepare and follow up proposals within agreed timelines, negotiating to maximise revenue and profitability.
- Qualify enquiries to ensure commercial viability and alignment with departmental targets.
- Conduct proactive client follow-ups, call plans and outreach to past, lost or turndown business.
- Upsell and cross-sell hotel services and facilities to maximise total revenue per booking.
- Coordinate event handovers to Planning and Operations Teams to ensure flawless execution.
- Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows and promotional functions.
- Maintain accurate records in Delphi FDC and other sales systems; track enquiries, contracts and client interactions.
- Support departmental financial objectives through cost control, accurate forecasting and adherence to budgets.
- Ensure all client communications, proposals, and event materials reflect Sofitel鈥檚 luxury brand standards.
