Your Role in the Story
The Security Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the safety, security, and well-being of all guests, employees, and property at LUURA. This role oversees all security operations across the property, leads the security team, maintains high standards of vigilance, and ensures compliance with all safety protocols and local legal requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Support maintain, and ensure implement security SOPs to ensure consistent operational standards.
- Conduct and support regular trainings for all employees on emergency procedures, guest safety, conflict resolution, and property protocols in alignement with Security Manager.
- Monitor and control access to the property, ensuring compliance with rules, regulations, and guest safety policies.
- Act as the primary point of contact with authorities for incidents, emergencies, or investigations, ensuring proper reporting and follow-up.
- Respond promptly and professionally to accidents, incidents, or emergencies, providing immediate assistance and informing management when needed.
- Maintain full knowledge of all security protocols, emergency procedures, fire and safety standards, and legal requirements.
- Shadow and supervise security operations on the floor, ensuring team adherence to policies and providing on-the-spot coaching.
- Analyze security data, incident reports, and operational gaps to continuously improve procedures, risk management, and guest safety.
- Submit to the authorities work accidents and guest reports as per local laws and leadership alignment.
- Foster a positive, professional, and vigilant team culture, encouraging accountability, development, and motivation.
- Collaborate closely with other departments (F&B, Housekeeping, Front Office) to ensure seamless operations and guest safety.
- Prepare reports for management on security operations, incidents, staffing, and improvement initiatives.
- Before Shift:
- Conduct daily briefing with security staff; assign roles and responsibilities.
- Review security logs, cameras, and reports from previous shifts.
- Inspect property for potential safety or security hazards.
- During Shift:
- Be present on the floor, actively supervising security operations as per directions of Security Manager.
- Respond to incidents, accidents, or emergencies and document appropriately.
- Support guest safety, ensuring visible presence in key areas.
- After Shift:
- Review incidents and prepare shift reports.
- Update SOPs or training notes based on observations or incidents.
- Ensure smooth handover to the next shift.
- Ensure total information sharing to the Security Manager.
