We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Chef de Partie - Continental to join our culinary team in Mysuru, India. In this role, you will oversee a specific station within our kitchen, managing food preparation, quality control, and service execution while maintaining the highest standards of Continental cuisine. You will work collaboratively with our kitchen brigade to ensure seamless operations and exceptional dining experiences for our guests.
- Manage and oversee your assigned kitchen station with full responsibility for food preparation, plating, and presentation
- Prepare Continental dishes according to established recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety, sanitation, and hygiene protocols at all times
- Monitor inventory levels at your station and communicate stock requirements to management
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff on proper techniques, procedures, and quality standards
- Ensure efficient workflow during service periods and coordinate with other stations to maintain timing
- Analyze and control food costs while minimizing waste without compromising quality
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of your station before, during, and after service
- Collaborate with the Head Chef and other team members to develop new menu items and improve existing dishes
- Perform quality checks on all dishes leaving your station to ensure consistency and excellence
- Assist with special events, banquets, and catering functions as required
