As our next Kitchen Porter, you will:
- Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment by washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
- Assist in the proper storage and rotation of food items to ensure freshness and minimise waste.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of storage areas, including refrigerators, freezers, and dry storage.
- Assist with the disposal of waste and recycling in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and tidy workstation, including regular cleaning of floors, walls, and work surfaces.
- Assist in receiving and storing deliveries, ensuring proper handling and storage of ingredients.
- Observe excellent food hygiene practice through the entire food chain from storage through to preparation and service.
- Perform other kitchen duties as assigned by the Head Chef or Kitchen Manager.
