The Role
We are currently seeking a dedicated and hands-on Maintenance Technician to uphold the hotel鈥檚 standards and ensure our facilities are maintained to the highest level. This position is responsible for managing the maintenance and engineering function, ensuring the safety and comfort of guests during their stay while protecting and maintaining the hotel鈥檚 physical assets.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and carry out preventative maintenance programs throughout the hotel to maintain operational standards and a positive guest experience.
- Prioritise and complete maintenance requests to ensure the smooth running of all hotel departments.
- Manage external contractors and service providers, ensuring work meets manufacturer specifications, legislative requirements, and is completed within budget and on schedule.
- Maintain plant, equipment, and building systems, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently.
- Maintain gym equipment in safe working order according to manufacturer specifications.
- Assist hotel management in responding to emergencies, incidents, and maintenance issues.
- Ensure all team members use equipment and chemicals safely in accordance with manufacturer instructions and WHS requirements.
- Monitor guest feedback and take corrective action to improve product and service delivery.
- Prepare monthly maintenance reports, including key performance indicators and actions taken to maintain performance targets.
- Actively participate in the hotel鈥檚 Work Health & Safety and Emergency Response team.
