Ecolab is establishing a new Bioprocessing Applications Lab in Dongtan, South Korea, and we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Scientist – Bioprocess Development to join us at this exciting early stage. Key Responsibilities (업무 내용)

• Support the setup and growth of the new lab facility in Dongtan.

• Lead chromatography-based purification process development for monoclonal antibodies.

• Design and execute bench-scale experiments using AKTA and other chromatography systems.

• Analyze samples using UPLC, ceSDS, ELISA, PCR, and other analytical tools.

• Develop packing protocols for chromatography columns from lab to production scale.

• Maintain accurate records, interpret data, and communicate findings clearly.

• Ensure lab safety and operational excellence.

• Mentor and potentially lead a small team of scientists and technicians.

Qualifications (자격 요건)

Required:

• Ability to communicate effectively in English (written and spoken).

• Master’s degree (MS) in Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field.

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in chromatography process development for antibody purification.

• Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of chromatography.

• Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.

• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred:

• Experience in leading or mentoring lab-based teams.

• Understanding of protein structure-function relationships.

• Working knowledge of statistics and data analysis tools.
