Our client in the Information Technology and Services industry is looking for a Capability Business Operations Partner to deliver a 6–12 month capability plan focused on training, certification, and strategic development initiatives within a public sector environment.
This role will work in close partnership with TWFP, L&D, and the Head of Practice to drive capability transformation, strengthen onboarding and career growth frameworks, and ensure bench talent is aligned to business demand. The position combines stakeholder management, data-driven insight, financial oversight, and community engagement to enhance workforce capability and operational performance.
What you will do:
- Deliver the Practice’s 6–12 month capability plan in partnership with TWFP, L&D, and the Head of Practice.
- Implement training, certification, and conference plans aligned to defined learning outcomes and KPI targets.
- Drive strategic capability transformation initiatives including Academy and ELT programmes.
- Build and maintain value-driven relationships with external partners to support professional development across the Practice.
- Define and support the E&ET capability strategy to enable effective onboarding and career growth
- Partner with the UK E&ET team to enhance employee experience, career progression, and community contribution.
- Design structured onboarding approaches for new joiners and support successful integration into the Practice.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial oversight of capability spend to ensure alignment with strategic priorities.
- Utilise GTD data and Skills KPI reports to identify capability gaps and implement targeted development plans.
- Provide staffing and capability insights to align bench talent with business demand.
- Collaborate with the Staffing Partner to inform assignment decisions based on skill requirements.
- Lead communications and engagement initiatives to increase participation in development platforms such as VIVA and SharePoint.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across capability, performance, and operational processes.
