Prospect and acquire new SME clients within the assigned territory using cold calling, digital prospecting, referrals, networking events, intermediaries, and social selling.
Sell solutions by identifying client needs and positioning Coface offerings to address pain points related to trade, cash flow, and risk management.
Develop clear and compelling proposals/quotations with input from internal stakeholders including commercial underwriters, risk underwriters, and management.
Maintain an active pipeline and deliver accurate sales forecasts to support business planning.
Ensure all prospects are fully developed through disciplined follow-up to achieve annual new-business targets.
Work closely with Marketing and the Head of Sales to execute marketing action plans for direct and partner channels.
Lead commercial negotiations with prospects and intermediaries through to contract signature.
Monitor new and lost clients to identify market trends, competitor movements, and opportunities for growth.
Build strong relationships with intermediaries/partners to generate consistent new‑business referrals.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (operations, underwriting, customer service) to maximize sales opportunities and ensure smooth onboarding.
