The Product Care Specialist (CAD Drafter) is responsible for generating technical models and drawings using computer aided drafting (CAD) tools. As part of the Product Care Team, the role is supporting all Product Change Management as well as supporting active projects / programs with documentation needs.

Director of Engineering â ECS Windsor
Responsibilities and Objectives:
- Generate CAD models and drawings in Autodesk Inventor guidance from product Design Engineers.
- Understand and communicate basic design ideas and concepts to Engineering and other technical staff.
- Implement design changes and create drawing revisions based on customer and engineering feedback.
- Generate technical drawings for individual parts, assemblies, and cable harnesses.
- Manage and maneuver files within a global file management system.
- Create and manage PCM documentation through the design change process to ensure timely completion.
- Administrative tasks as required to aid in the completion of projects.
- Create and manage Bill of Material lists as they pertain to projects and provide updates and modifications when necessary.
- Checks othersâ drawings for completeness and conformance to internal standards.
- Complete monthly report detailing design/application activities.
- Create technical dossier for completed projects.
- Complete other projects as assigned.
