We are the Firmware Infrastructure Team at SanDisk, a global leader in SSD development. Our team plays a core role in building and maintaining the foundation that supports efficient, scalable, and high-quality firmware development for next-generation SSD products.
Our Role
We focus on the infrastructure layer within the firmware stack, enabling seamless development workflows, system-level integration, and automated validation. While the majority of our work is in C, we also use Python selectively for internal testing and automation tasks.
Key Responsibilities
⢠Develop and maintain C-based infrastructure modules in the SSD firmware environment.
⢠Support test and debug frameworks to enhance firmware validation efficiency.
⢠Manage source code using Git, and track development progress through Jira.
⢠Collaborate with cross-functional teams (platform, validation, test) in an Agile development process.
⢠Ensure consistent build processes, issue tracking, and test integration across development cycles.
Tech Stack
⢠Languages: C (primary), Python (testing and automation)
⢠Tools: Git, Jira
⢠Development Methodology: Agile (Scrum/Kanban-based sprints)
⢠Platform: Embedded systems for SSD firmware
