ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Architect and design secure firmware root of trust solutions for embedded systems and IoT devices
- Lead security assessments and penetration testing of firmware and embedded systems
- Develop and implement secure boot processes and trusted execution environments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security features into product designs
- Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments for firmware and hardware components
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and vulnerabilities in embedded systems
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership in firmware security best practices
- Contribute to the development of security policies and standards for firmware development
- Participate in security audits and ensure compliance with industry regulations
- Engage with customers and partners to address complex firmware security challenges
