Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
SanDisk鈥檚 Digital Transformation and Operations Procurement group is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented intern to join the Cost, Working Capital, and Contract Management pillar. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in strategic procurement, data analytics, supplier management, and project execution.
An intern in this group can expect to work on and gain experience in the following areas:
Cost Management:
- Support the analysis of procurement spend data to identify cost savings opportunities.
- Assist in tracking and reporting on cost reduction initiatives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to drive cost efficiency strategies.
Project Pipeline & Oversight:
- Develop and maintain project tracking tools for procurement initiatives.
- Assist in the prioritization and management of the project pipeline.
- Support regular project updates and stakeholder communications.
KPI/Dashboard Development:
- Design and develop dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) for procurement operations.
- Analyze data trends to provide insights for decision-making.
- Automate reporting processes for enhanced visibility and efficiency.
Supplier Outreach:
- Orchestrate supplier events, including developing event content, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and meeting with vendors.
- Ensure seamless execution of supplier engagements to foster collaboration and innovation.
Category Planning:
- Conduct market research to support category strategies.
- Assist in the development of category plans and sourcing strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on procurement planning activities.
