We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused IT Specialist (1 year contract-based) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for all IT-related issues. This position requires an individual who can provide prompt and effective support, ensuring minimal disruption to our operations.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the initial point of contact for employees seeking technical assistance via chat, email or phone.
- Diagnose and resolve basic technical issues, providing step-by-step instructions to guide users through solutions.
- Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and relevant questions.
- Escalate complex technical issues to higher-level support teams as necessary.
- Keep record of problems and their resolution by maintaining technical documentation and service catalog on installation of software, configuration of hardware and problem troubleshooting.
- Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems and peripherals.
- Support users with software installation, email configuration, and other IT-related tasks.
- Provide basic training and guidance to users to improve their understanding of IT systems.
- Participate in ongoing training and development sessions to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
- Provide needed information on IT products or services that are based on Global IT processes.
- Provide IT Support to offices based in SEA in accordance with the timezone.
