The Sales Director โ Key Accounts Net New for the Nordics is responsible for driving commercial success across strategic accounts and new prospects within the region. This role focuses on expanding IFSโs footprint by securing net new customers and deepening relationships with key accounts, ensuring sustainable growth and market leadership.
You will bring a strong perspective on how enterprise solutions deliver measurable business value and guide customers through their transformation journey, from initial engagement to adoption. You will collaborate with internal teams and partners to maximize opportunities, positioning IFS as a trusted, strategic partner in the Nordics.
Key Responsibilities
People Leadership
- Build and lead a high-performing sales team through coaching, skills development, and inclusive leadership.
- Drive hiring, onboarding, and continuous training to strengthen team capabilities.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and success, celebrating achievements and sharing best practices.
- Partner with HR and sales enablement to address performance challenges and enable ongoing growth.
Account & Customer Relationship Management
- Achieve or exceed annual revenue targets for key accounts and net-new customers.
- Develop and execute clear account strategies and actionable plans for sustainable growth.
- Build strong relationships with C-level executives and engage IFS Executive Sponsors when appropriate.
- Act as a trusted advisor by delivering insights, expertise, and value aligned to customer priorities.
- Maintain deep knowledge of customer organizations, technology landscapes, and competitive environments.
- Encourage customers to become IFS advocates and references.
Territory Leadership
- Own the Nordic territory, including account planning, prospecting, and managing full sales cycles.
- Deliver business plans that address customer priorities, leveraging benchmarking and ROI insights.
Demand Generation & Pipeline Management
- Build a robust pipeline in conjunction with the BDR & Marketing team
- Maintain accurate pipeline visibility using disciplined management practices.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Inside Sales, and Partners&Channel to expand opportunities.
- Advance and close deals through effective sales strategies and execution.
Sales Excellence
- Clearly articulate and position IFSโs unique business value in alignment with customer needs.
- Qualify opportunities with a strong understanding of drivers, timelines, and decision-making processes.
- Coordinate cross-functional resources to ensure successful deal execution.
- Apply best-practice sales methodologies and maintain accurate CRM data.
