Our client in the Information Technology and Services industry is looking for an AWS Architect with extensive experience in cloud architecture and distributed systems. This role focuses on designing and implementing resilient, scalable, and observable cloud native solutions, defining enterprise cloud strategies, and translating business requirements into technical architectures. The position requires strong collaboration with cross functional teams, creation of reusable design patterns and reference architectures, and driving DevOps, automation, and Agile best practices across teams.
What you will do:
- Design and implement large scale distributed systems with focus on resiliency, scalability, and observability.
- Define cloud native strategies and architectures for enterprise applications.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Create technical design specifications, reference architectures, and reusable patterns.
- Drive adoption of DevOps practices, CI CD pipelines, and automation across teams.
- Lead and mentor teams in Agile delivery models and ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
- Define API first and event driven architecture patterns and implement containerized microservices solutions.
- Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform and manage CI CD pipelines using GitLab and Jenkins.
- Establish observability practices using logging, metrics, and tracing tools including ELK.
- Own and drive cloud architecture initiatives end to end in an Agile environment.
