Our client in the global professional services industry is looking for a User Experience Designer to join the User Experience Design team supporting a government project. This role focuses on understanding user needs, behaviors, and task flows to create optimized user experiences, working collaboratively across multiple teams, and contributing to key design and research decisions in a public sector environment. Experience working with government services and sensitivity to vulnerable citizen groups is highly valued.
What you will do:
- Conduct in depth user interviews and usability testing to gather actionable insights.
- Create user personas and journey maps to inform design and research decisions.
- Analyse target user needs and task behaviors to optimize user experience outcomes.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure a cohesive and consistent user experience.
- Iterate research outputs and design recommendations based on user feedback and testing results.
- Contribute to team and cross team decisions as a subject matter expert in user research.
- Manage research activities and support effective team performance.
- Provide practical solutions to research and usability challenges across teams.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in user research, usability, and customer experience design.
