Software Engineer – Data, AI & BI / Full Stack

Overall Objective
Assist in the development and maintenance of BI, data engineering, and AI-assisted solutions within a modern Azure cloud-native ecosystem. Support integration of intelligent automation and analytics into existing business processes by collaborating with SSEs and Technical Leads to deliver secure, scalable, and high-quality solutions.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist in building data pipelines for ingestion, processing, transformation, and reporting.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions under guidance.
- Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database performance improvements.
- Support development of Azure-based cloud solutions, including Data Lake, Synapse, Azure Functions, etc.
- Contribute to integrating AI-based services and APIs to enhance business processes and decision-making workflows.
- Use Python or C# for scripting, automation, backend logic, or model/API integration.
- Help troubleshoot production and pipeline issues and resolve incidents with root-cause analysis.
- Participate in Agile sprints, daily scrums, and deliver features in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Follow coding standards, DevOps practices, and maintain documentation.
Required Skills & Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in data engineering, BI development, or full-stack engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with SQL and relational databases.
- Experience building dashboards with Power BI or similar visualization tools.
- Experience working with Azure Cloud Services (Data Lake, Synapse, Functions, Key Vault, etc.)
- Good working knowledge of Python and/or C# for scripting and backend development.
- Experience integrating AI/ML services or models via APIs, or practical exposure to AI-driven business enhancements.
- Understanding of Agile methodology and collaborative development practices.
Good to Have
- Hands-on exposure to MLOps, model lifecycle management, or data science pipelines.
- Experience in regulated domains like healthcare or pharma.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, Event-driven streaming platforms.
