We are looking for experienced Network Engineers (f/m) to take ownership of our networking services and play a key role in designing, building and operating modern, secure infrastructure environments.
You will join a small, cross-functional team of highly skilled Application, Storage, Compute and Cloud Engineers. Together, you will design and implement secure, segregated infrastructure zones across multiple international locations, ensuring high availability, resilience and performance.
This role offers genuine end-to-end influence - from understanding business requirements through to solution design, implementation and ongoing service management — and requires someone who can move fast and adjust solutions on the fly when needed.
You will use your hands-on experience in both BUILD and RUN of networks to deliver practical, sustainable solutions.
Your Main Objective
To own and manage networking services across our GSC–NSC IT Infrastructure landscape, supporting approximately 4,000 end users across more than 30 global sites.
Your Role
- You will support and deliver strategic infrastructure initiatives, including:
- Executing network segregation programmes,
- Designing and implementing virtual and physical security zones,
- Supporting the segregation of application environments (Application Availability Groups),
- Designing and creating newly defined segregated infrastructure zones,
- Supporting application migrations into new secure zones,
- Designing, implementing and managing modern networking solutions (private, public and hybrid cloud),
- Managing WAN, LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN and load balancer services,
- Acting as the networking specialist within the defined IT service scope,
- Ensuring high availability and performance of critical applications,
- Identifying opportunities to innovate and enhance service delivery,
- Improving processes through automation and sustainable solutions,
- Producing high-quality documentation (Low-Level Designs, policies, procedures),
- Working closely with Cloud, Compute, Security and C&S teams to ensure alignment and governance,
- Ensuring services comply with internal policies, standards and agreed SLAs.
