As a Assistant Head Chef you will be responsible for cooking and supporting the Head chef in completing customer orders.
Reporting to the Head Chef you will be part of the Bar and Catering Team, who will contribute in achieving the highest standard of food production for the Stadium, while meeting customer expectations, health and safety requirements and financial targets.
What you will do
- Assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen management and operations.
- Work with the team to deliver high-quality meals and fast food within budget.
- Help with stock ordering, deliveries, and menu planning.
- Ensure timely food preparation and adherence to cleaning rotas.
- Manage stock control and minimize wastage.
- Stay updated on industry trends and contribute new ideas.
- Deputize for the Head Chef as needed.
- Ensure kitchen equipment is safe and used correctly; report issues to the Bar & Catering Manager.
- Maintain safety in the kitchen and report concerns to the Bar & Catering Manager or Safety & Compliance Officer.
- Implement food hygiene regulations.
- Be a qualified fire warden and/or first aider.
