We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Assistant Resident Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will work alongside the Resident Engineer to oversee construction activities, ensure compliance with project specifications, and maintain the highest standards of quality and safety on site. - Daily site supervision and monitoring of construction activities to ensure adherence to project plans and specifications
- Conduct regular site inspections and document findings, including quality checks and compliance verification
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive site documentation, including daily reports, progress logs, and photographic records
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate smooth project execution and resolve site-related issues
- Analyze technical drawings, specifications, and construction methodologies
- Monitor and enforce site safety protocols and ensure all personnel comply with health and safety regulations
- Assist in project scheduling, progress tracking, and identification of potential delays or risks
- Maintain organized records of site activities, material deliveries, and equipment usage
- Communicate effectively with project stakeholders regarding site progress and any emerging concerns
- Support quality assurance processes and assist in resolving construction defects or non-conformances
