The Team You鈥檒l Work With:
The Mayor's Office of State Legislative Affairs serves as the principal liaison between Mayor Zohran Mamdani鈥檚 Administration and the New York State Legislature.
The Problems You鈥檒l Solve:
The Executive Assistant will work towards fostering productive relationships between the executive and legislative branches and assist the Mayor's administration in developing and advancing the Administration鈥檚 agenda through State law and the State budget.
About You:
- You can schedule meetings on behalf of SLA staff.
- You can enter data into databases and Excel sheets.
- You can review and track legislation.
- You can facilitate interactions between elected officials' offices, City and State agencies, and the Administration, including responding to requests from members and staff promptly.
- You can assist SLA staff with meeting preparations.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
- A four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent approved by a State's department of education or a recognized accrediting organization, and one year of satisfactory clerical experience.
