Why This Role Matters
The Process Engineer is responsible for the design and delivery of projects with a strong process focus, primarily within wastewater, water, and solid waste treatment. This includes all phases of the project lifecycle, from design through testing and commissioning. The role involves close coordination with internal teams, external designers, and suppliers to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with performance and regulatory requirements.
The Process Engineer reports to the Project Manager or Technical Manager and acts as the key process interface across all engineering disciplines.
What You鈥檒l Drive
- Lead the process design and technical delivery of water, wastewater, and solid waste treatment projects.
- Manage process-related activities throughout the full project lifecycle, including design, testing, and commissioning.
- Coordinate and manage external designers, consultants, and suppliers to ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Ensure all process designs meet safety, performance, quality, budget, and schedule requirements.
- Provide timely and accurate process information to other disciplines (civil, architectural, mechanical, electrical, etc.) to support coordinated project delivery.
- Support the Project Manager or Technical Manager with technical input, risk identification, and problem-solving.
- Ensure compliance with applicable local standards, regulations, and industry best practices.
