In this role, you will work Day Shift, 7AM-3PM.
The Maintenance Mechanical & E&I Technician is:
- Responsible for all facets of maintenance repair, including those related to plant system instrumentation.
- Responsible for establishing calibration documentation and ensuring that instrumentation is maintained within the design and set point parameters necessary to function properly.
- Diagnoses and repairs complex electrical equipment, including motors, switches, switchboards, electrical mechanisms, automated machines, controls, panels, relays, circuit breakers, communication systems and alarms.
- Responsible for the transfer of technical knowledge as related to the growth and development of the shift maintenance technicians.
- Responsible for updating and/or red-line changes to technical schematics and documentation to reflect changes made to the equipment.
- Locate and diagnose failures, replace defective components, and perform basic troubleshooting using standard equipment, detailed drawings, diagrams, sketches, specifications, prints, manuals, and verbal and/or written instructions.
- Repairs, troubleshoots, corrects and maintains machinery including: centrifugal & diaphragm pumps; mechanical systems; hydraulic and pneumatic problems on all facility and production equipment. Fabricate and repair piping including measure, cut, thread, assemble, and install.
- Participate in special projects/functions including; formal and hands on technical training for operations and maintenance personnel, emergency and scheduled maintenance coverage, and the development of special written procedures/programs.
- Support all initiatives and goals established by the plant leadership team.
