About the role

Reporting to the Laboratory Manager in Shepparton, you’ll collect and analyse environmental samples, maintain field equipment and help deliver accurate, timely results for our clients. You’ll represent SGS during site visits and work closely with the team to meet quality, safety and reporting requirements.

What you’ll be doing

• Carry out environmental sampling, testing and analysis in line with relevant standards and client requirements.
• Visit client sites and provide sample collection and delivery services.
• Prepare sample bottles and support sample receipt activities.
• Check and calibrate field instruments to help ensure reliable results.
• Keep clear, accurate records and prepare and issue analytical reports on time.
• Support risk assessments, internal audits and compliance with SGS quality and safety procedures.
• Build positive client relationships, attend client meetings and identify opportunities to support their needs through SGS services.
