Senior Civil Engineer - Water Resources

This opportunity is available in our Rockhampton or Mackay offices.

Our multidisciplinary team are looking for a Senior Civil Engineer with some experience in drainage design and a passion for water management, to work with major clients and be based from our Rockhampton or Mackay offices.

This is a broad opportunity, which would suit Civil Engineers with diverse backgrounds (circa 5-15 years + experience) and some exposure to surface water management across multidisciplinary projects.

What you'll do

You'll contribute to the design and delivery of civil engineering projects within our Water business, working alongside engineers and technical specialists across a range of infrastructure projects.

You'll bring sound engineering judgement, a practical approach to design and the ability to work collaboratively with project teams and clients to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering civil engineering design and documentation for water management projects.
• Contributing to civil design packages, including drainage, stormwater and associated infrastructure where required.
• Preparing technical reports, design documentation, calculations and specifications.
• Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop practical, cost-effective and sustainable engineering solutions.
• Supporting design reviews, quality assurance and compliance with relevant Australian standards and guidelines.
• Liaising with clients, local authorities and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide technical advice.
• Supporting project planning, coordination, delivery and ongoing client relationships.
• Providing technical guidance to developing engineers and contributing to knowledge sharing across the team.
