Job Description Summary

SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday, DAY SHIFT; No nights, holidays, or weekends.

The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) in Employee Health Services supports the delivery of efficient, high-quality occupational health services by working collaboratively with Registered Nurses and providers. Responsibilities include assisting with pre-employment health screenings, injury and exposure-related visits, fast hire events, vaccine administration, phlebotomy, specimen collection, and other delegated clinical duties. The CMA also assists with front desk operations, including employee registration, scheduling, phone management, documentation, and ensuring smooth clinic workflow.

Job Description

CMA II Minimum Training and Education: 

High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of an accredited medical assistant program with six months of CMA/RMA experience required. Must be certified through the American Medical Technologist (AMT) or American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or National Health career Association (NHA) or MedCA as a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP), or National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT). Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required.
