Our vision is to transform how the world uses information to enrich life for all.

Micron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate and advance faster than ever.

Micron is a global leader in innovative memory and storage solutions that transform how the world uses information. Our engineering teams drive breakthroughs from advanced process technologies through product development, enabling industry-leading DRAM, NAND, and emerging memory solutions. We foster a highly collaborative environment where design, verification, product engineering, and manufacturing teams partner across global sites to deliver world-class semiconductor products.

As a Memory Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, simulation, optimization, and validation of analog and digital circuits used in advanced memory products. This role involves working across the full product lifecycle, from technology development and circuit architecture through silicon validation and product qualification. You will collaborate with multi-functional teams to ensure designs meet performance, quality, reliability, manufacturability, and cost objectives while supporting next-generation memory technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, simulate, analyze, and optimize analog and digital CMOS circuits used in DRAM and other advanced memory products, including power delivery network (PDN) circuitry and block-level power generators.
• Collaborate with design, verification, product engineering, process integration, test, probe, assembly, and marketing teams to develop high-quality memory solutions that meet product and manufacturing objectives.
• Perform circuit verification, layout review, parasitic extraction analysis, and silicon correlation to validate circuit performance against design simulations.
• Partner with process integration and transistor modeling teams to develop circuits for future semiconductor process technologies and next-generation memory products.
• Demonstrate the ability to effectively use AI-enabled tools, including Microsoft Copilot and approved AI solutions, to improve productivity, accelerate problem solving, and support engineering decision-making.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field with 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience; OR Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field with 3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with analog and digital circuit design and simulation.
• Experience with power delivery network (PDN) circuit design, analysis, and optimization.
• Experience using UNIX and CADENCE design environments, including simulation, schematic entry, and SPF extraction.
• Experience performing circuit verification, layout verification, parasitic extraction, semiconductor device evaluation, and circuit optimization.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing memory circuits, including DRAM or other high-performance semiconductor products.
• Strong understanding of transistor modeling, CMOS circuit design methodologies, and silicon validation techniques.
• Experience collaborating with multi-functional semiconductor development teams across design, manufacturing, and product engineering organizations.
• Demonstrated ability to apply critical thinking and human judgment to validate AI-generated outputs and ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with Micron policies.
• Experience adopting emerging AI-enabled workflows and approved AI-assisted tools to improve engineering efficiency and business outcomes.
