Oliver Wyman, a Marsh (NYSE: MRSH) business, is a management consulting firm driven by deep industry insight, bold innovation, and a collaborative approach that cuts through complexity to help organizations navigate their most defining transformative moments.
Clients approach us with their most significant challenges, and we assemble teams of experts to address each facet of these complex issues. Together, we create breakthroughs that lead to remarkable impact.
Within Oliver Wyman, the Data and Analytics (DNA) division was established in 2017. We are a dynamic and rapidly growing team of around 250 quants, data engineers, data scientists, software engineers, AI specialists and project managers, working closely with over 5,000 colleagues across the firm to cover a global footprint, supporting clients across multiple industries including, but not limited to, Financial Services, Climate & Sustainability, Energy, Retail, and Transportation.
We are growing our project management team, and this role is central to that growth.
We believe in the power of diverse perspectives and collaborative teams to drive innovation. Our team comes from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences, and we embrace the unique skills and insights they bring to our work.
At Oliver Wyman and within DNA, we are proud of the values we uphold that guide us every day in how we work and collaborate. We are committed to fostering an inclusive environment where everyone can thrive and reach their full potential.
Expect a steep learning curve, as no two projects are ever the same. You’ll have the opportunity to travel internationally, gaining invaluable experiences and insights across different cultures and, with access to the latest technologies, you’ll constantly expand your toolkit with each new endeavour.
You won’t be alone on this journey; colleagues across the firm will guide and coach you throughout your career. You’ll have a dedicated buddy, a career adviser, and a talent manager to help you navigate your professional path. Progression here is not about time served or project size; it is earned through consistently demonstrating greater judgement, leadership, influence and impact.
This role will empower you to embrace your curiosity and step out of your comfort zone. You will have the opportunity to work alongside talented and supportive colleagues who measure success by the lasting impact we create together. If you’re excited by challenges and eager to make a meaningful impact, we look forward to welcoming you aboard!
These positions offer excellent career and growth opportunities for talented, highly motivated professionals with a passion for delivering complex technology, data, quantitative and AI-enabled work. We look for people who are flexible and who know the content and industry well enough to earn real credibility, leading delivery with fluency in the technical substance of the work rather than managing it from a distance. We call this content-fluent project management: the role is an orchestrator of delivery, not an administrator of it.
Above all, we look for people who create and maintain the conditions for excellent teams to deliver exceptional outcomes with our clients.
We offer a competitive salary and benefits, with a clear career path through to Managing Director or Partner and potentially a steeper trajectory than in similar firms. These roles sit at Levels 3 to 5 of the Oliver Wyman competency model: Associate Team Leader (Level 3), Team Leader (Level 4) and Director (Level 5). Directors can pursue promotion to Managing Director or Partner

Team Leader - At least 5 years of experience, leading complex, multi-workstream technology, data or quantitative-enabled programmes, managing budgets, delivery risk and multiple stakeholders across a full programme, for example leading delivery across several consulting and engineering workstreams on one client programme, with senior client sponsors and Oliver Wyman Partners as regular counterparts
