AECOM's New York Metro Buildings + Places team is currently seeking a motivated, collaborative, and team-oriented Senior Architect to join our Justice Architecture Practice. In this role, the Senior Architect will lead multiple projects from the planning and design phases through construction documentation and construction administration. Projects will include courthouses, correctional facilities, detention facilities, and public safety buildings.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Participating in all aspects of project planning and design.
Coordinating with clients, consultants, and contractors.
Ensuring project objectives are achieved throughout each phase of design and delivery.
Lead projects through programming, master planning, conceptual, schematic, design development, and construction document phases.
Implementing design solutions through the construction document and construction administration phases.
Lead cross-functional design disciplines in developing technical solutions
Evidence-based design, use of data and best practices to inform decisions.
