We are looking for a Project Manager, Communications in our Sacramento, CA office.
This role is responsible for managing communications systems throughout the project lifecycle, from design and procurement through testing, commissioning, and operational handover.
The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical knowledge and project management expertise, with experience leading multidisciplinary teams and coordinating stakeholders to successfully deliver complex communications systems.
The Impact You’ll Make (Job Responsibilities)
- Lead the delivery of communications systems through design, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning, and operational handover.
- Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks, change management activities, and stakeholder engagement.
- Coordinate communications activities and interfaces across engineering, operations, technology, and infrastructure teams.
- Manage suppliers, contractors, consultants, and service providers to ensure successful project execution.
- Oversee the integration and delivery of communications technologies, including fiber networks, radio systems, telecommunications infrastructure, operational communications, and control center systems.
- Support regulatory, permitting, licensing, and compliance activities required for system implementation and operation.
- Lead testing, commissioning, system integration, defect resolution, operational readiness, and final acceptance activities.
