We are looking for a CEI Inspector in the Kansas market. The ideal candidate will observe & monitor field work activities on a project to ensure conformance to plans, specifications, and checks lines, grades, dimensions, and elevations using standard field measuring equipment.
The Impact You'll Make
- Observes and monitors field work activities on a project to ensure conformance to plans, specifications, and other contract documents
- Checks lines, grades, dimensions, and elevations using standard field measuring equipment
- Observes highway work zones and traffic control setups and reports potential issues to supervisor.
- Tests and/or samples materials
- Documents daily work activities and pay items in Site Manager
- Works under the direct supervision of a Field Project Engineer, Senior Inspector or Resident Engineer
- Additional responsibilities as needed including working at night.
