The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering, Sustainability Management, or a related field, with at least 2 years of experience in sustainability, environmental management, or ESG practices within an international luxury hotel environment. Additional certifications such as ISO 14001, ISO 50001, or sustainability-related qualifications are considered a strong advantage.
Success in this role requires excellent communication and analytical skills, proven experience in sustainability initiatives, environmental performance monitoring, waste management, energy and water efficiency, and sustainability reporting. Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency and fluency in English are essential, along with a proactive, solution-oriented approach to continuous improvement. The ideal candidate should be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of implementing sustainable practices, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and sustainability standards, and promoting environmental awareness among colleagues and stakeholders while maintaining the highest standards of luxury hospitality and guest experience.
