We are looking for an entry level structural engineer in the New England area.
Your impact:
- Work on complex bridge and transportation design projects in CT, MA, VT and RI
- Perform structural design calculations using AASHTO and AREMA codes for bridges, retaining walls, culverts, and other transportation-related structures
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to prepare project deliverables including design drawings, reports, specifications, presentations, and cost estimates
- Provide construction phase support by reviewing shop drawings, submittals, and responding to contractor questions
- Conduct site visits to assess existing highway and railroad bridges
- Use engineering software to perform structural analysis and load ratings
