Your Role at a Glance:
As the Global Category Buyer for Film Capacitor, you will take full commercial ownership of a global category, shape supplier strategies across Bosch's worldwide network, and drive value from early sourcing through post-SOP performance. This is a role with real scope — you will influence decisions across regions, functions, and the entire product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the Global Category Buyer for Film Capacitor, owning all commercially relevant topics
- Develop and implement global category and supplier strategies within the assigned category
- Lead annual price and contract negotiations, and maintain related systems
- Manage new project sourcing from a commercial perspective
- Collaborate with Bosch Engineering, Quality, and Project Purchasing teams on new project sourcing (RB acquisition phase to supplier final award) and post-SOP VAVE activities
- Support Bosch plants worldwide on supplier quality, cost claims, and logistics escalation
- Conduct market scouting, new supplier development, and supplier enablement
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the manager
