The Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) Cardiology Division is seeking a highly motivated Clinical Research Echo Technician to support clinical and translational research efforts involving patients with cardiovascular disease. This individual will work directly with Principal Investigators, physicians, research coordinators, and study teams to conduct echocardiographic assessments for patients enrolled in clinical research protocols. The role provides an opportunity to combine clinical echocardiography with research and contribute to studies focused on advancing cardiovascular health and patient care.
The Clinical Research Echo Technician will coordinate and perform research echocardiograms across a variety of settings, including outpatient, inpatient, portable bedside, intensive care, emergency, and exercise laboratory environments. The technician will also book research echocardiograms, coordinate follow-up visits, compile and enter study data into electronic data capture systems, and maintain accurate patient and study records in accordance with research and regulatory requirements.

The successful candidate will be comfortable working directly with patients and multidisciplinary teams, managing competing priorities, asking questions and seeking guidance when needed, and adapting to different ultrasound equipment and research protocols.
