Due to continued growth, we’re looking for an experienced Principal or Associate Director level Hydraulic Engineer to join our rapidly growing Perth Building Engineering team.
This is an opportunity to step into a senior technical and client-facing role, leading hydraulic engineering across a diverse portfolio of complex building projects while helping shape the growth and capability of the wider team.
As a senior member of the Hydraulics team, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality engineering outcomes, building strong client relationships and mentoring the next generation of engineers.
You will:
- Lead hydraulic engineering across a diverse range of building projects, acting as the technical lead and providing guidance to project teams and junior engineers.
- Own the technical delivery of hydraulic designs and calculations, including technical reviews, quality assurance and sign-off.
- Work closely with multi-disciplinary engineering teams, coordinating hydraulic design with other disciplines to deliver integrated project solutions.
- Engage directly with clients and key stakeholders, understanding project requirements, drivers and constraints and translating these into practical, innovative and cost-effective solutions.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship, delegating effectively and supporting the development of engineers across the team.
- Contribute to the wider national Hydraulics team, collaborating with experienced engineers across Australia and supporting the delivery of complex, high-profile projects.
- Deliver a broad range of hydraulic engineering services, including rainwater harvesting, sanitary plumbing and drainage, trade waste, potable and non-potable water reticulation, hot and warm water systems, energy-efficient and solar hot water systems, reverse osmosis, demineralised water and water-efficient design.
- Help shape the continued growth of the Perth team through your technical expertise, industry relationships and leadership.
