Job Description Summary
The APP Infusion Services Manager reports directly to the Medical Director for Infusion Services in the Department of Medicine, Division of Hematology Oncology and has a matrix reporting relationship with the Infusion Center nursing managers and the APP Best Practice Center leader. Under limited supervision, the Infusion Services APP Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day APP staffing and deployment to all Charleston Division infusion centers (East Cooper, West Ashley, North Charleston, Hollings Cancer Center, Okatie, and Orangeburg). The APP Infusion Services Manager works collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and staff to ensure timely patient access to care, operational efficiency, practice optimization, fiscal integrity, and to foster the delivery of a quality patient care experience.Entity

Scheduled Work Hours/Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:00am- 5:00pm

Required Minimum Training and Experience Training
Current licensure as a Physician Assistant or currently licensed as an APRN as noted below. Two years of experience as an APP and/or experience in a managerial or leadership role is required.
All applicants must also possess:
Preferred Experience: 3 years of experience working as a PA/APRN in an infusion clinic in addition to PA/APRN leadership/managerial role, or advanced leadership education.
Physical Requirements
Continuous requirements are to perform job functions while standing, walking and sitting. Ability to bend at the waist, kneel, climb stairs, reach in all directions, fully use both hands and legs, possess good finger dexterity, perform repetitive motions with hands/wrists/elbows and shoulders, reach in all directions. Ability to be qualified physically for respirator use, initially and as required. Maintain 20/40 vision corrected, see and recognize objects close at hand and at a distance, work in a latex safe environment and work indoors. Frequently lift, lower, push and pull and/or carry objects weighing 50 lbs (+/-) unassisted, exert up to 50 lbs of force, lift from 36" to overhead 25 lbs. Infrequently work in dusty areas and confined/cramped spaces.

Minimum Required Education and Experience: 1 year experience within current role (internal MUSC only). Required Licenses/Certifications/Registrations: Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program and currently licensed or completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program and currently licensed.
