We are looking for a Engineer, Signaling in our Sacramento, CA office.
This individual will play a key role in delivering complex transportation infrastructure projects by developing technical solutions, coordinating system interfaces, and supporting project delivery through implementation and operational readiness.
The Impact You’ll Make (Job Responsibilities)
- Develop, review, and approve signaling engineering deliverables throughout design, construction, testing, and commissioning phases.
- Support requirements management, system architecture development, and interface coordination across multidisciplinary teams.
- Review supplier and contractor designs to ensure compliance with project requirements, industry standards, and operational needs.
- Provide technical oversight for digital signaling and train control systems, including interlockings, traffic management, train detection, communications, and automation technologies.
- Prepare and review documentation supporting safety, regulatory, and operational approvals.
- Develop and support testing, commissioning, system integration, defect resolution, and final acceptance activities.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders, operators, consultants, and technical teams to ensure successful project delivery and system handover.
