We're looking for an experienced and visionary Chief Accountant to join our organization in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this pivotal leadership role, you will oversee all accounting operations and serve as a strategic financial partner to senior management. - Oversee and manage all daily accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, fixed asset management, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards and Saudi regulatory requirements
- Ensure full compliance with Saudi tax regulations, statutory reporting obligations, and internal financial policies
- Direct and manage the month-end and year-end closing processes with meticulous attention to detail and efficiency
- Monitor cash flow, analyze budgets, and track financial performance to support informed business decision-making
- Coordinate internal and external audits, respond to audit findings, and implement corrective actions transparently
- Develop, implement, and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy
- Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports to guarantee accuracy and completeness
- Supervise, mentor, and evaluate accounting staff, fostering professional development and high performance standards
- Support the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts, providing analytical insights to guide strategic planning
- Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and implement best practices that enhance organizational efficiency
- Collaborate with management and cross-functional teams by providing comprehensive financial analysis and strategic recommendations
