As a Laundry Attendant, your care and attention to detail play a vital role in upholding the hotel’s exceptional linen standards and contributing to a memorable guest experience. In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient handling and movement of all hotel linens, guest laundry, and colleagues’ uniforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, count, and dispatch soiled linen, towels, and uniforms to the outsourced laundry service.
- Receive, inspect, and record clean linen deliveries to ensure quantity and quality meet hotel standards.
- Distribute clean linen and uniforms to respective departments and maintain proper stock levels in storage areas.
- Manage the uniform room operations — issue and receive uniforms, ensure proper labeling and recordkeeping.
- Handle guest laundry and dry-cleaning services, including collection, tagging, tracking, and delivery in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of all linen movements, guest laundry transactions, and uniform inventories.
- Report any missing, damaged, or stained items to the Laundry Supervisor immediately.
- Ensure the linen and uniform rooms are kept organized, clean, and well maintained.
- Coordinate with the outsourced laundry provider to resolve discrepancies or quality issues.
- Support the housekeeping team during peak operations as required.
- Follow all safety, hygiene, and hotel policies and procedures.
