We are seeking a highly technical, customer focus experienced senior residue chemist in Girraween, Western Sydney. As a senior chemist, you will assist the Laboratory Manager to conform to internal standards, policies and procedures and external legislative requirements.
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Acting as subject matter expert (PI) for GLP residue studies. Managing project form from project planning, execution to reporting.
- Hands on method development and validation of extraction techniques and instrumentation optimisation.
- Sound knowledge in operating, developing methodology for test equipment including HPLC-UV/RF, GC-MS/MS and LC-MS/MS.
- Reviewing data acceptability according to international recognised criteria and troubleshooting
- Liaising with customers on project milestones and reporting on test results
- Writing of test method protocol , work instructions and other Laboratory Quality Manual Documents.
- Training chemists, technicians and laboratory assistants in new procedures and techniques. Verifying training for Staff Training Records.
