The Role
Reporting to our Water Cost and Commercial Lead, you'll support the commercial management of projects from feasibility through to final account.
You'll bring commercial expertise, stakeholder engagement skills and NEC contract knowledge to ensure successful project delivery whilst helping clients achieve value for money and programme objectives.
Your Responsibilities
Commercial & Contract Management
- Administer NEC3 and NEC4 ECC contracts (Options A, C and E)
- Manage cost reporting, forecasting and valuations
- Support payment certification and commercial compliance
- Resolve contractual issues and maintain robust commercial records
- Work closely with Project Managers and delivery teams
Cost Planning & Procurement
- Undertake feasibility studies and cost planning activities
- Support tender preparation and contractor procurement
- Identify commercial risks and implement mitigation measures
- Provide informed commercial advice throughout project development
Project Delivery
- Monitor project costs and commercial performance
- Support variation management and claims resolution
- Assist with final accounts and project close-out activities
- Contribute to lessons learned and continuous improvement initiatives
Business Growth
- Support bid and proposal development activities
- Provide commercial input to winning submissions
- Assist in developing client relationships and future opportunities
- Help strengthen Egis' growing presence within the UK infrastructure market
