We are looking for an experienced Microsoft SQL Server Administrator (Infrastructure Administrator) to join Sopra Steria Polska to cooperate with a team for our French client.
Note that we can only offer cooperation to people are located in Silesian area and are willing to commute to our office in Katowice.
Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain Windows Server and Microsoft SQL Server environments.
- Perform system patching, upgrades, and security-related activities.
- Manage backup and restore processes and support infrastructure migration projects.
- Automate operational and administrative tasks using Ansible.
- Monitor infrastructure and ensure the stability and availability of production environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents as part of 2nd Line Support, in line with SLA requirements.
- Manage user accounts, access permissions, and secure access to IT services.
- Implement, test, and support new infrastructure solutions and system enhancements.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams to deliver infrastructure services and projects.
- Identify opportunities for optimization and continuous improvement within the IT environment.
- Contribute to effort estimations, technical assessments, and infrastructure-related project activities.
