The job holder works as a System Safety Engineer (f/m/d) and the main tasks are:
- Conduct main Safety assessments (Functional Hazard Assessment/System Safety Assessment) activities for military aircraft and systems, supporting the phases until certification;
- Conduct Risk Analyses, according to the applicable guidance and standards, which are required to support the continuous aircraft development (including Permit to Fly/Type Certificate);
- Conduct Common-Cause Analyses (Particular Risk Analysis, Zonal Safety Analysis and Common Mode Analysis);
- Manage and generate safety requirements, safety evidences (tests, simulation, analyses), Safety Procedures and Limitations, interface with other technical domains (processes, maintenance, human factors, aircraft performance and quality, etc.);
- Strong influence on aircraft/systems architecture development according to the required Safety/Integrity;
- Act as interface at the required level with internal and external stake holders (Chief Engineering, Project Management, Design Teams, Airworthiness Authorities, Industrial Partners, Customers, Suppliers);
- Review, approval and application of supplier data regarding Safety and Reliability.
