We are looking for a motivated and curious Medical Trainee to join our Immunology Medical Affairs team in Portugal.
This opportunity is designed for a recent graduate or early-career professional who is interested in developing a career in the pharmaceutical industry and gaining practical experience in Medical Affairs, with a specific focus on the Immunology therapeutic area.
The Medical Trainee will work closely with the Immunology Medical Affairs team and collaborate with cross-functional colleagues to support scientific and medical activities related to AbbVie’s Immunology portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Medical Affairs team in the preparation and review of scientific and medical materials.
- Conduct literature reviews and summarize relevant scientific evidence.
- Assist with the development of medical education materials and internal scientific presentations.
- Support the organization of scientific meetings, advisory boards and congress activities.
- Contribute to the preparation of responses to medical information requests.
- Collaborate with colleagues from Clinical Development, Regulatory Affairs, Market Access, Pharmacovigilance and Commercial teams.
- Monitor developments in relevant therapeutic areas and communicate key insights to the team.
- Ensure that all activities are conducted in accordance with AbbVie policies, local regulations and industry codes.
