The CNC Machinist & Mechanical Assembly Technician role involves building, fabricating, and assembling custom machinery and automation equipment. Key Responsibilities
Mechanical Fabrication & Assembly
- Interpret and work from mechanical fabrication drawings.
- Provide feedback to the mechanical design team for improvements or clarifications.
- Perform precision fabrication using hand tools and power tools.
- Assemble pneumatic and hydraulic systems. Machining & CNC Operations
- Operate CNC equipment such as lathes and mills (experience preferred but not required).
Electrical Panel Wiring
- Wire electrical panels according to provided electrical schematics.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Support & Collaboration
- Assist the automation team with equipment testing and troubleshooting.
- Perform miscellaneous tasks related to machine building and integration.
Travel
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time for installations, support, or training.
