About the Role
As the pioneer PMT (Process, Methods, Tools) engineer at our newly established Electrified Mobility China Hub, you will serve as the primary operational and strategic bridge between EM headquarters in Germany, the EM Hub and our Joint Venture (UAES).
In this role, you will anchor central PMT standards locally while resolving practical collaboration and data handover bottlenecks across joint customer projects. You will establish a unified engineering data backbone and lead the rollout of our modern Systems & Software Toolchain (Git & Docs-as-Code). Furthermore, you will drive holistic Requirements Management across all domains and support local engineering teams as a technical Subject Matter Expert.
Key Responsibilities
- 1. Central PMT Coordination & Global Alignment
- Act as the primary PMT contact and bridgehead between German headquarters, the EM Hub and the UAES Joint Venture.
- Adapt and deploy central engineering process and tool strategies to the local hub while feeding regional and JV requirements back to HQ
- Align cross-functional stakeholders, engineering leads and project managers on standardized engineering methods and workflows.
- 2. Cross-Site Data Exchange & Collaboration
- Identify and resolve daily pain points in toolchains and data handovers between Bosch Germany, UAES and the EM Hub across active customer projects.
- Define and establish reliable workflows and automated mechanisms for exchanging engineering artifacts and models between all participating entities.
- Implement and manage centralized storage for CMB data in one place, establishing a consistent single source of truth for distributed teams.
- 3. SYS/SW Toolchain, Requirements & Technical Enablement
- Drive the rollout and adoption of our modern, Git-based and Docs-as-Code toolchain and CI/CD pipelines
- Champion a holistic Requirements Management approach across all domains
- Act as the on-site Subject Matter Expert to troubleshoot toolchain and workflow issues for local engineers.
- Develop lightweight automation scripts, data converters, and pipeline extensions (e.g. in Python or Shell) to bridge tool gaps and automate data transfers.
