Pilot Company is seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Intern to join our Energy team in Houston, TX, for the summer of 2027. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in shaping our company-wide financial processes, driving efficiency and accuracy in forecasting and budgeting.
In this role, you'll be an integral part of our Energy FP&A team. Your work will directly impact our strategic direction by evolving and improving our forecasting and budgeting processes, allowing you to make a tangible difference in a dynamic, high-impact environment.
What You’ll Do
Enhance forecasting and budgeting: You'll help drive the evolution of our enterprise-wide processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Conduct in-depth analysis: Apply your financial modeling and valuation skills to various projects, providing data-driven insights.
Utilize advanced data tools: Leverage tools like Tableau, Essbase, and Oracle EPM to retrieve and analyze critical financial data.
Act as a business partner: Collaborate with team members and internal partners, building relationships and providing valuable financial support beyond just "number pushing."
Increase team capacity: Your work will directly contribute to more accurate forecasting and budgeting by allowing our team to focus on strategic initiatives.
