Within the Technical Direction Team, you will develop new machines, maintain the documentation and program of existing ones and support ongoing projects. As a EC&I Engineer, your main tasks will be to:
Provide technical support for the provision of outsourcing of the execution phase and to customers when required.
Modify and update the design of the electrical and control system.
Update electrical diagrams.
Instrumentation recommendations and wiring understanding as well as configuration of the transmitters.
Programming of PLCs and HMIs.
Commissioning (locally in workshops as FAT and occasionally on site), monitoring and supervision of works.
Documentation update.
Diagnose and analyze the malfunctions of the installations and/or equipment.
Area #1 – Project Execution
The C&I Engineer creates or modify the following:
- The PLC software and HMI layout, by using simple, reliable and user-friendly solutions
- The electrical and manufacturing drawings, to ensure a smooth and quick production
- Test the first machines being built and train the personnel
- Documentation (manual users, design specifications,...) related to the product
Area #2 – Fabrication Support
Fabrication phase: Support the electrical fitters when required about sensor connections, decide on the best way to route cables.
Testing phase: Support the Factory acceptance test team when required, train the personnel on new systems
Area #3 – Technical Support
Provide a technical support, on all the Solys portfolio to:
- All the Business Units (BU) throughout the world (internal Veolia customer)
- Final customers occasionally
Support provided remotely via phone and email or locally on site when required.
Area #4 – Product development and changes
The electrical and control engineer will be tasked with developing new systems and improving existing.
